Valley Outreach
Valley Outreach is Valley Bible
Fellowship’s homeless and inner-city
ministry. Valley Outreach serves
every Sunday at 2:30 pm at the
Las
Vegas Rescue Mission located at 480 W.
Bonanza Road (map),
between Main Street and Martin Luther
King Blvd, just north of downtown.
The purpose of Valley Outreach is to
provide physical and spiritual help to
low-income families and those living in
the streets of Las Vegas, including
those living on Social Security that are
not making it financially each month.

In Isaiah
58:7, the Word says “Is it
not to divide your bread
with the hungry; And bring
the homeless poor into the
house; When you see the
naked, to cover him; And not
to hide yourself from your
own flesh?” |
What to Expect
Valley Outreach reaches families and
people like you and me; they have
feelings, emotions, and needs. Some deal
with strongholds and addictions, some
with mental disabilities, and others
with both. They come looking for
provisions – food, clothing, toiletries,
travel, and shelter – but require so
much more.
Ministry Opportunity
We
are looking for caring teams of
individuals to extend the love of Christ
and offer encouragement to lost and
hurting people. Each Sunday we serve,
feed and evangelize to the Las Vegas
Rescue Mission residents and also to
those living in the area, including the
homeless. We are taking over the feeding
and serving every Sunday; currently the
Las Vegas Rescue Mission serves dinner
to approximately 400-500 people on a
daily basis, and can spike to 800+ people
at month-end.
Ministry Guidelines
The following guidelines were created
for your safety.
- Never give money to anyone.
Direct them to one of the resource
documents or to a ministry leader.
- Never walk the streets alone.
Always go in twos, but always with
at least one adult male.
- No children under 12 years old,
without prior approval.
- Dress should be appropriate and
conservative. Sufficient
underclothes must be worn
appropriately and must not be
exposed. Clothing that exposes the
midriff, any part of the bust,

excessively tight or distracting are
not permitted.
- Due to recent health alerts and
concerns, please bring
anti-bacterial soap to wash your
hands.

have prepared several resource documents

regards to employment, subsistence

Challenge), and local food banks.
