Thinking & Acting Like A Servant Leader
"Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be
your servant." Mark 10:43 (NASB)
Thinking Like A Servant Leader!
To be a servant leadership requires a mental shift, a
change in your attitudes. God is always more
interested in why we do something than in what we do.
Attitudes count more than achievements.
5 Attitudes of Servant Leaders!
"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ
Jesus." Philippians 2:5 (NIV)
- Servant Leaders think more about others than about
themselves.
- Servant Leaders think like stewards, not owners.
- Servant Leaders think about their work, not what
others are doing.
- Servant Leaders base their identity in Christ.
- Servant Leaders think of ministry as an opportunity,
not an obligation.
Acting Like A Servant Leader!
"You will know them by their fruits." Matthew 7:16
(NASB)
We serve God by serving others.
The world defines greatness in terms of power,
possessions, prestige, and position. If you can
demand service from others, you’ve arrived. In our
self-serving culture with its me-first mentality, acting
like a servant is not a popular concept. Jesus,
however, measured greatness in terms of service, not
status. God determines your greatness by how many
people you serve, not how many people serve you.
Six Character Traits of Servant Leaders
