 The
prayer ministries considers the ministry of praying a
great privilege. God has given us the unique
opportunity to approach His throne with our needs and
praise, as well as to intercede on behalf of others.
We have the privilege of corporately presenting our
prayers and petitions to God for divine intervention.
"My house will be called a house of prayer for all
the peoples." Isaiah 56:7

The altar call ministry is to assist those that
respond to the altar calls. Helping people
understand the work that God has begun in their lives,
and pray with them if they have additional needs such as
family challenges, job situations, relationships with
children, or prayer for
healing. We also inform the people of the
different ministries what VBF has to further assist
them.
As the Altar team we are the last ones to be in
contact with people before leaving the service,
therefore we want those that come to the altar to leave
the service complete in the Lord; fully touched and
fully changed by God. Our primary purpose is to
help hold up our Pastor's hands by finishing the job
they started at the Altar. There is a four week
phone call follow-up to check on their spiritual growth. |

the online prayer board is for you. After you
place your prayer request or praise report, we encourage
you to check back and see the names of people who are
coming in agreement with you for that prayer. We are
also doing a Praise report section as well to offer
praise to the Lord.

For those of you who want to know how to pray over
the people that post their prayer request, simply pray
over their listed situation, and then leave a reply to
their prayer request. State your first name and
the city you live in. Can you imagine how
encouraging it would be for someone to see a bunch of
names of people who are praying with them over their
situation? As you pray over the person, the Lord may
place a verse on your heart that would encourage the
person. Feel free to send them the scripture in the form
of a reply to their prayer request.
NOTE : This Website is strictly for prayer
requests, praise reports, and requests for needs.
Please do not leave personal messages for someone.
When listing your prayer request, please know that
anyone who has access to the Internet can
potentially see your prayer request, so do not list
details of names, addresses, or other personal
information that could jeopardize your safety.
