outreach

"Is
it not to divide your bread with the hungry; And bring
the homeless poor into the house; When you see the
naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your
own flesh?"
(Isaiah 58:7)"Then
the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who
are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared
for you from the foundation of the world. For I
was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was
thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a
stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed
Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and
you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer
Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or
thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when
did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked,
and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in
prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and
say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you
did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least
of them, you did it to Me." (Matthew 25:33-40)

Valley's Mexico Outreach

- Mulege, Mexico
- Tijuana/Tecate,Mexico
Mulege is our newest outreach and includes two
palapas owned by Valley were groups of people can go and
attend week long discipleship programs.
Secondly, just outside Tijuana and Tecate, Mexico,
Valley has an apartment with a basement for community
outreach. The team is responsible for meeting the
construction and physical needs in the area.
Both
skilled and unskilled laborers are always needed. There
area variety of of work opportunities available during
the mission trip. Typically, work occurs in the
morning and ministry in the afternoon.
- Cement Work - foundations, roads, retaining
walls, walkways
- Painting, Weeding & digging trenches
- Framing - New Buildings and remodeling
- Electrical and Plumbing
Cost is approx. $400 per person for Mulege and
$30 per person for Tijuana. In both cases, there are
lots of opportunities to minister to the local people
living in the area. Sonrie Jesus Te Ama! see

Valley Outreach is Valley’s homeless and inner-city
ministry. The purpose of Valley Outreach is to
provide physical and spiritual help to low-income
families and those living in the streets of Las Vegas,
including those living on Social Security that are not
making it financially each month.
We are looking for
caring teams of individuals to extend the love of Christ
and offer encouragement to lost and hurting people. Each
Sunday we serve, feed, and witness to the Las Vegas
Rescue Mission residents and also to those living in the
area, including the homeless. Currently the Las Vegas
Rescue Mission serves dinner to approximately 400-500
people on a daily basis.
Show up, set up, and pray up at 2:30 pm; start
serving food to Mission residents at 3:00 pm, then serve
those living in the area at 4:00 pm; clean-up begins
promptly at 5:00 pm. Food preparers can show up at 1:30
pm to utilize the Mission’s commercial kitchen.
Teams are always needed:
- Worship teams
- Cooking teams/food preparers
- Food servers/clean-up teams
- Ushers/prayer teams
- Clothing distribution teams
