Conspiracy of Silence
 Pastor
Ron Vietti was diagnosed with leukemia
in January of 1997. Many of the
lessons he shares in this book are
byproducts of the trials he went through
in his bout with cancer. This book
is about the apathy in the body of
Christ. Acts 2 says that in the
last days, God will pour out His Spirit
on all mankind. Our daughters and sons
will prophesy; our young men will see
visions and our old men will have
dreams.
In the early church, believers who
were filled with the Holy Spirit were
accused of being "filled with sweet
wine" (Acts 2:13). It is my firm
belief that 21st Century American
Christians would not be able to tolerate
the faith of these pioneer Christians,
nor would they be able to appreciate the
faith of such men as Abraham, Elijah,
Ezekiel, Daniel or Jeremiah. I'm
sure the American Church today would
brand these pillars of the faith as
being total weirdoes.
This book is not about being goofy
for Christ, but being balanced in
developing a walk with God similar to
the kind of relationship that the Old
and New Testament saints had with God.
Without this kind of walk, the Church
will most definitely continue living in
defeat. Satan is committed to his
conspiracy of silencing the voice of God
in our lives.

much like the rest of the world by
